Ferris State University's men's and women's cross country teams concluded their fall season at the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Championships held in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The event took place on Saturday, November 8, 2025.
The women's team finished 16th in the team standings with a total of 409 points. Nearly 30 schools from across the region participated in the competition. Whitney Farrell led Ferris State's women, securing 41st place in the 6K race with a time of 22:13.3. Jesica Durkee followed in 65th place at 22:47.0, while Emily Plouff was 97th with a time of 23:17.0. Ella Kowatch and Tessa Wohlschlegel rounded out the team's top five finishers, placing 101st (23:20.3) and 105th (23:25.8), respectively.
On the men's side, Ferris State finished in 17th place with a score of 459 points against strong regional competition. Emmett Johnson led the Bulldogs by finishing 47th in the men's 10K race with a time of 32:02.3. Ryan Ososki placed 71st (32:30.6), Ben Knuth came in at 104th (32:59.5), Aaron Bowerman was close behind at 111th (33:09.1), and Julian Linebaugh completed the top five for Ferris State at position number 126 (33:37.3).
