Ferris State cross country teams finish season at NCAA Midwest Regional

Ferris State University's men's and women's cross country teams concluded their fall season at the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Championships held in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The event took place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, and featured nearly 30 schools from across the region.

The Ferris State women's team finished 16th overall in the team standings with a total of 409 points. Whitney Farrell led the Bulldogs by finishing 41st in the 6K race with a time of 22:13.3. Other top performers for the women's squad included Jesica Durkee (65th, 22:47.0), Emily Plouff (97th, 23:17.0), Ella Kowatch (101st, 23:20.3), and Tessa Wohlschlegel (105th, 23:25.8).

On the men's side, Ferris State placed 17th overall with a score of 459 points. Emmett Johnson was the team's top finisher in the men's 10K race, coming in at 47th place with a time of 32:02.3. He was followed by Ryan Ososki (71st, 32:30.6), Ben Knuth (104th, 32:59.5), Aaron Bowerman (111th, 33:09.1), and Julian Linebaugh (126th, 33:37.3).
