Congresswoman Hillary Scholten, representing Michigan’s 3rd district, has recently posted several updates on her official social media account regarding legislative priorities, her return to Washington, and commemorative activities.

On September 2, 2025, Scholten criticized former President Donald Trump’s actions concerning Congressional authority. She stated: "What Trump forgets is that he's not just undermining the Constitution when he goes around Congress; he's undermining the American people, who voted for this aid through their elected representatives."

Later that day, she shared an update on her work schedule following a congressional recess. On September 2, 2025, she wrote: "After a productive August GSD (Get Stuff Done) Period, I’m back in Washington getting to work for YOU, West Michigan. Hillary Scholten began serving in Congress in 2023 after replacing Peter Meijer as the representative for Michigan’s 3rd district. Born in Grand Rapids in 1982 and currently residing there at age 41, Scholten holds degrees from Gordon College (BA) and the University of Maryland, Baltimore (JD). Her public communications often highlight both legislative developments and community engagement activities.
