Hillary Scholten highlights robotics innovation and community events in Michigan’s 3rd district

Congresswoman Hillary Scholten, who represents Michigan’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of messages on August 19, 2025, highlighting technological advancements, local achievements, and community support.

In her first post at 13:42 UTC, Scholten wrote: "We’re proud to have the U.S. Autonomous Robot here in MI-03, a technology that is working to expand American supply chain independence and keep our manufacturing on the cutting edge.

Later that evening at 23:10 UTC, she congratulated a local athlete with the message: "West Michigan is proud of ALL of our young athletes — no matter the sport they excel at. Congrats to cup stacking champion, Will, from East Grand Rapids, on his accomplishments! Keep stacking them up!

Scholten has served as Michigan’s 3rd District representative since replacing Peter Meijer in 2023. She was born in Grand Rapids in 1982 and continues to reside there. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts from Gordon College (2004) and a Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland, Baltimore (2011).
