Hillary Scholten supports energy innovation and visits key sites

Congresswoman Hillary Scholten, representing Michigan's 3rd district since 2023, recently shared her perspectives and activities through a series of tweets. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1982, Scholten has been an active member of the U.S. Congress, succeeding Peter Meijer in her current role.

On July 6, 2025, Scholten expressed her support for a comprehensive energy strategy. She stated "I’m supportive of an all-of-the-above energy approach. Innovating in the energy space will slash emissions, create jobs, save consumers money, and ensure America’s dominance on the global stage." She mentioned her visit to J&H Walker View Mobil to gain insights into their innovations in energy.

Later that day, she highlighted her advocacy for the agricultural sector by visiting Fairlife’s Coopersville plant. On this occasion, she tweeted "I’m a fierce advocate for our agricultural community, including West Michigan dairy producers. I enjoyed touring Fairlife’s Coopersville plant to learn more about their day-to-day operations and impact on our local community."

On July 7, 2025, Scholten addressed the severe weather conditions affecting Texas. She conveyed her condolences and support through a tweet stating "I'm praying for the families of the victims of the flash flooding in Texas over the weekend." She also acknowledged the efforts of first responders working amid challenging circumstances.

Hillary Scholten is known for her educational background with a BA from Gordon College and a JD from the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
