Hillary Scholten, currently serving as a U.S. Congresswoman for Michigan's 3rd District since 2023, is actively engaging with her constituents through social media to provide updates and insights on her congressional activities and positions.

In a tweet posted on April 9, 2025, Scholten informed constituents of a temporary issue affecting her district office's phone lines. She assured that efforts were underway to resolve the matter promptly. She provided an alternative contact number for reaching her office, stating, "My district office phones are experiencing technical difficulties. We are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. If you need to reach my office, please call 202-225-3831 or visit https://t.co/kwZ01Qsu3M."

Later that day, Scholten expressed her support for the American Lung Association's LUNG FORCE initiative. On April 9, 2025, she posted, "I'm wearing turquoise today to stand with @LungAssociation's the LUNG FORCE initiative to fight lung cancer. I'm proud to stand up against funding cuts to health research that would impact prevention, detection, and treatment of this disease."

In another statement on the same day, Scholten criticized House Republicans, suggesting their loyalty lay with former President Donald Trump rather than the American public. On April 9, 2025, she commented, "Once again, House Republicans are showing that they only serve Donald Trump — not the hardworking Americans who are being crushed by his reckless tariffs. Congress deserves to have a say if the President is determined to throw our country into economic chaos, and Americans."
