Hillary Scholten, currently serving as a U.S. Congresswoman representing Michigan’s 3rd district, recently shared several updates on her legislative activities and engagements via social media. Elected in 2023 to succeed Peter Meijer, Scholten has been actively involved in various initiatives supporting different communities.

On March 25, 2025, Scholten expressed her opposition to the reduction of social services for Native American tribes by former President Trump. She emphasized her commitment to tribal sovereignty and resources after speaking with the Midwest Alliance of Sovereign Tribes.

The following day, on March 26, she highlighted the importance of rural letter carriers who act as "post offices on wheels" for rural areas in West Michigan. Scholten hosted leaders from the Michigan Rural Letter Carriers Association to express her support for their essential work.

Later that same day, as Co-Chair of the U.S. Congressional Caucus on the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Scholten attended the Anne Frank Award ceremony. The event honored Dr. Irene Butter, a Holocaust survivor and University of Michigan professor, recognizing her contributions to human dignity and tolerance.
