Congresswoman Hillary Scholten, representing Michigan's 3rd district, has shared several updates through her social media platform. Her recent posts highlight local events and express concerns over national educational policies.

On March 19, 2025, Scholten celebrated the arrival of spring by promoting local park projects in Kent County. She stated, "Nothing says springtime quite like a day at the park! Check out these awesome park projects happening this year at nine Kent County park locations, and start making your plans for a beautiful sunny day in West Michigan."

The following day, on March 20, 2025, she welcomed the first day of spring with enthusiasm for upcoming seasonal events. Scholten tweeted, "Happy First Day of Spring, West Michigan! I can’t wait for warmer weather and all the goodness that comes with it. Check out some of the exciting Spring events coming up across MI, including the Bluebird Festival in Grand Rapids!"

Later on March 20th, Scholten expressed her concern over President Trump's educational policy decisions. She remarked on Twitter: "As the daughter of an educator, I'm troubled by President Trump's move to dismantle our federal Education Department at the expense of American students. This is an attack on more than 1.4 million K-12 students in Michigan, and countless more throughout the country."
