Congresswoman Hillary Scholten, representing Michigan's 3rd district, has been actively engaging with her constituents through various initiatives and updates. In a series of tweets posted on March 18, 2025, she highlighted her efforts in healthcare access and the importance of Medicaid, as well as addressing technical issues in her office.

On March 18, Scholten shared her recent visit to Hackley Community Care. She noted the organization's commitment to providing high-quality healthcare to residents of Muskegon County. "Last week, I met with leaders from Hackley Community Care. At Hackley, they’re doing incredible work to ensure West Michiganders in Muskegon County have access to high-quality health care. I’m working hard to ensure our local health centers have what they need to thrive."

Later that day, Scholten emphasized the significance of Medicaid for over 150,000 residents in West Michigan. She stated the necessity of protecting these benefits from being misused by wealthy individuals. "Medicaid is a lifeline for over 150,000 West Michiganders — it must be protected. Hearing directly from you helps me better serve you and ensure unelected billionaires can't treat your Medicaid benefits like a gambling chip."

In another tweet on March 18, Scholten informed her followers about technical difficulties affecting her district office phones and provided alternative contact information for those needing assistance. "My district office phones are experiencing technical difficulties. We are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible."
