Earlier this week, Scholten participated in a community event in MI-03, organized in collaboration with Mix957GR. The event focused on a dress drop-off initiative aimed at helping West Michigan students find suitable prom attire ahead of the prom season. In her tweet dated March 6, 2025, she shared: "Back in MI-03 earlier this week, we had a great community event with @Mix957GR — this time, a dress drop-off to help West Michigan students find prom clothes ahead of prom season! They'll be dressed to impress!"

In another post from March 6, 2025, Scholten addressed the looming threat of a government shutdown. She urged Republicans to take action to prevent such an outcome.
