Congresswoman Hillary Scholten, representing Michigan's 3rd district, has been active in her community engagements as evidenced by her recent social media posts. Scholten, who succeeded Peter Meijer in 2023, continues to focus on affordable housing and healthcare initiatives.

On February 9, 2025, Scholten shared her support for a new affordable housing project while she was in Washington for votes. "While I was in Washington for votes this week, Team Scholten joined @IamSamaritas ribbon-cutting for their new 53-unit affordable housing complex in Spring Lake. The following day, February 10, 2025, Scholten expressed gratitude towards Senator Slotkin's proactive approach during their meeting with leaders from Cherry Health Center. "Grateful to have a senator who shows up with action! @SenatorSlotkin and I sat down to listen to leaders from Cherry Health Center — a facility on the frontlines of providing accessible health care to our neighbors.
