The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) announced Tuesday that 3,959 student-athletes have garnered Academic All-GLVC distinction for the 2023-24 season.

According to the GLVC, the "honor is bestowed upon student-athletes who meet a cumulative GPA of 3.30 over two semesters of an academic year at the institution."

Two dozen Davenport University student-athletes were named to this year's academic honors, with 17 from the men's lacrosse program and seven from the men's wrestling team.

The 2023-24 academic year marks the final season both programs will be associate members of the GLVC. The men's lacrosse and wrestling teams will join the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (GMAC) starting in the 2024-25 academic year.
