The Ferris State University women's golf team achieved a fifth-place finish at the Missouri-St. Louis Spring Invitational. The competition concluded on Monday in St. Louis, Missouri, with the team registering a total score of 921 across three rounds. The Bulldogs' performance included scores of 310, 307, and 304 over the course of the event, which featured 18 teams and took place at Norwood Hills Country Club.

The University of Missouri-St. Louis clinched the first position with a score of 869, followed by Indianapolis in second with 898. Tiffin secured third place with a score of 912, and Drury finished fourth, just ahead of Ferris State, with 919.

Kamryn Shannon was a standout performer for Ferris State, finishing seventh overall with a three-round total of 222, marking a 76 in the first round and consistent scores of 73 in the subsequent rounds.

Lizzie Anderson also contributed to the team’s efforts with a score of 234, placing her in a tie for 28th. Her rounds included scores of 79, 78, and 77. Kylie Walker ended 33rd with a total of 236, while Ashley Thomasma and Taylor Musselman both tied for 39th with scores of 237.

Competing as an individual, Susie Gietl tied for 15th place, achieving a total of 228 with rounds of 79, 73, and 76.

The Bulldogs are set to participate in the GLIAC Championships from April 25 to 27 in Augusta, Michigan.
