MUSKEGON, MI—Congresswoman Hillary Scholten visited the future site of the Adelaide Point development this morning, celebrating the $250 million investment that will revitalize communities up and down the lakeshore.
“The Adelaide Pointe project demonstrates what happens when local officials, business leaders, and community members all collaborate to make something good happen,” said Congresswoman Hillary Scholten. “I'm proud to have played a small role in that effort by ensuring this project received swift consideration from federal authorities. It’s a top priority of mine to eliminate red tape and to make sure the government doesn’t hamstring economic development. Adelaide Point is already creating an environment where businesses can thrive—this project will give residents of Muskegon a beautiful place to gather, work, and play.”
Adelaide Point is a new West Michigan marine community development that will be located on Muskegon Lake. The Adelaide Pointe project will include a marina, condominiums, mixed-use retail and event space and public access with bike trails, greenspace and a public fishing pier.
