City announces first 2023 neighbor engagement and Commission Night Out

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The City of Grand Rapids City Commission welcomes residents and stakeholders to a neighbor engagement session and City Commission Night Out (CNO) meeting Tuesday, March 28 at Grand Rapids Public Schools University, 1400 Fuller Ave NE, Grand Rapids. This the first of three resident engagement and Commission Night Out meetings set for 2023.

Doors open at 5 p.m. with City information tables from a variety of City departments and offices. Food and beverages will be provided. Each official City Commission meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. with an organized facilitated discussion session followed by the business portion of the meeting at 7 p.m.

City staff will share themes of ideas and feedback from the 2022 Commission Night Out community discussions, steps that have been taken by the City since those engagements, and then host a conversation to dive deeper into the themes of welcoming and belonging.

The business portions of the City Commission meetings will air on Comcast Channel 26 and be live streamed on the City of Grand Rapids Facebook page and YouTube channel.
