Dear Kent County Partners and Broadband Champions,
Broadband Internet is essential to those who work, reside, and attend school in Kent County. In some areas of our county, high-speed Internet is not available, unreliable, or very slow. In order to support broadband expansion we need to gauge Internet availability and speeds throughout the county. We need your help!
As a community partner or local champion, you have unique connections within our community. Your support is critical to the success of this effort. We are counting on you to boost resident participation throughout our broadband journey.
Kent County has created a survey to gather this information in partnership with Merit Network, and we are asking you to spread the word to all county residents. We will be hosting a brief informational webinar discussing the project, our survey, and actions you can take to help support the effort.
Please join us on September 30, 2022, from 9 A.M. - 10 A.M. EST. to learn more about Kent County's survey project.
If you cannot attend the webinar, we will send out a link to the recording. We will link tools, including sample emails and flyers, that you can use to help us spread the word.
For more information or questions about the project, please contact Dawn Davies at (616) 632-6512 or KentCounty@KentCountyMI.gov.
Please join us in our efforts to get you and your neighbors in Kent County better connected to affordable, reliable, high-speed broadband.
