Kent County to Host Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for New Parks Department Office

  • Members of the Kent County Board of Commissioners
WHAT: Kent County will unveil its new Kent County Parks administrative office at an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, Sept. 12, 2022.

WHEN:

  • Monday, September 12, 2022
  • 10 a.m. – Noon: Open House & Tours            
  • 10:30 a.m. – Ribbon Cutting and Formal Remarks
WHERE: Kent County Parks Department - 1700 Butterworth SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49534

WHY: Members of the media are invited to celebrate the new Kent County Parks Department office which encompasses more than 7,000 square feet and replaces the    20-year-old outdated modular offices. It will provide administrative space for staff and increase access to Parks operations for residents. Members of the media will be able to take photos and obtain B-roll.
