City of Walker Police Department issued the following announcement on Apr 8.
It's going to be a little chilly tomorrow, but we hope to see you all at Walker's Easter Egg Hunt!
There will be over 10,000 eggs to find, all stuffed with treats, so don't forget a bag or bucket.
Park in a marked area & walk in. We will stage for the egg hunt along the outdoor hockey rink & back side of Walker Ice & Fitness Center. Volunteers will be out & about to assist you.
The egg hunt will start PROMPTLY at 11 AM, so be on time! Once the alarm sounds, it won't take long for the eggs to be picked up.
Walker PD, Walker Fire, and Kent County Sheriff Office will have some vehicles on hand to check out after you fill your buckets. The Easter Bunny will also be around for any Kodak moments you need, with the event wrapping up at NOON.
The ground is a little soggy, so we suggest boots & clothes you don’t mind getting a bit dirty!
