Letters to property owners from HydroCorp

Local gov stock 01

City of Lowell recently issued the following announcement.

Recently, some property owners have received letters from HydroCorp with the City of Lowell logo to perform mandatory Cross Connection Control Program inspections at no charge.  The City of Lowell has had a partnership with HydroCorp to perform this task on the City's behalf for many years.

The  Cross Connection Control Program is in place to prevent backflow and other contaminants from entering into the water distribution system.  This program is mandated by the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy and is required per City Ordinance.

The City did not issue the letters to property owners but is asking for voluntary compliance.  If you have questions, please contact Lowell City Hall at 897-8457.  To learn more about the city ordinance on this issue, please click here.
