City of Rockford recently issued the following announcement.

If you have requested an absentee ballot and have not returned it yet, you might want to soon. All ballots for the November election must be received by 8pm on November 2 to be counted. If you plan to mail it to us, we recommend you mail it to us this week to guarantee it arrives in time - postage is 1 stamp. You can also return your ballot in person at City Hall or use our drop box outside the front door.

If you have not requested an absentee ballot and would like one, there is still time, just fill out an absentee ballot application or stop into City Hall for one.

For more information about voting, please see this website: https://www.michigan.gov/sos/0,4670,7-127-1633---,00.html..
