City of Wyoming issued the following announcement on July 12.
Today we officially say “see you later” to Captain Maguffee. Please join us in wishing him a very Happy Retirement after 30 years of law enforcement service.
Jim has filled many roles during his career. He has been a mentor and leader both within our department and the community. The impact of his contributions to the City of Wyoming and the law enforcement profession is immeasurable and will last long after he’s retired.
Cheers to retirement, Jim. From your agency, your community, and the many friends you have made we thank you for the contributions you have made over the last three decades of honorable service and sacrifice.
