CITY OF GRANDVILLE: Sprinkling Ban Is Currently In Effect

Waterdrop

City of Grandville issued the following announcement on Aug. 14.

We’ve received a few calls concerned about sprinkling continuing in the Grandville Cemetery during the Wyoming water customer sprinkling ban. We’re so glad word is reaching the community, and residents are taking this seriously.

The water used to irrigate the cemetery comes from Buck Creek, not the city water supply. We’ll be shutting down the irrigation system for a few days anyway so there is not further cause for concern or confusion.

Additionally, the irrigation system at the Little League complex near West Elementary on Aaron uses groundwater from a well, not the city water supply.

All irrigation systems serving city-owned public spaces that use city water have already been shut down.

Thanks to everyone who is helping out by limiting water consumption and turning off irrigation systems during this time. Every little bit helps!
