City of Grandville issued the following announcement on May 20.
Memorial Day is an important day on which we ground ourselves to the reality that every Gold Star Family knows: Our way of life has been shaped and made possible by those who have served and we should never take for granted. The American Legion Post 1111 wants to ensure honor is given to the men and women who have laid down their lives on this sacred day.
