U.S. Rep. Elise Stefanik's (R-NY) E-PAC (Elevate Political Action Committee) named Lynn Afendoulis (R-Grand Rapids Charter Township) as a “Woman to Watch.”  Upon receiving the nomination, she said, “I'm honored to be named as one of the Women to Watch by Rep. Elise Stefanik's E-PAC. It's time we had more strong conservative women in Congress. As a member of Congress, I will fight every day to ensure that we have true conservative leadership here in West Michigan. Thank you, E-PAC!”

Afendoulis serves as a Republican member of the Michigan House of Representatives. Representing the 73rd District, this area is comprised of East Grand Rapids, Grand Rapids Charter Township, Courtland, Cannon, Plainfield, Oakfield and Nelson. She is a chair for the tax policy committee and also works on the committees for transportation and infrastructure, veterans and homeland security, health policy and military.

Stefanik, the first woman who served as the head of recruitment for the National Republican Congressional Committee, is on a mission to get more women elected.
