City of East Grand Rapids issued the following announcement on Oct. 14.
Bring your unwanted medications to the Public Safety Department on Saturday, October 26, 2019 between 10 am and 12:00 noon as part of the national Drug TakeBack Day. The medications will be incinerated to keep them out of the groundwater supply.
You can also drop off medications anytime the Public Safety Department is open (M-F, 8 am to 5 pm) in the secured drop box located in our lobby.
