City Offices Closed for Thanksgiving Holiday

City of Grand Rapids offices and the Grand Rapids Public Library (GRPL) will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 23 and Friday, Nov. 24 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. The closure is part of the city's effort to give its employees time to celebrate the holiday with their families.According to the city's announcement, all branches of the GRPL will resume their normal hours on Friday, Nov. 24. Ferris State soccer welcomes five new student-athletes for 2024

Ferris State University has announced the signing of five new recruits for its women's soccer program. These athletes will join the Bulldogs as freshmen in the fall of 2024. The new recruits include midfielder Morgan Elledge from Jackson Northwest, forward Ava Fuller from Fraser, midfielder Natalia Leavens from Northville, defender Ava Roy from Lake Fenton, and defender Anna Thelen from Forest Hills Central.
