City of Grand Rapids issued the following announcement on Jan. 13.
Most City of Grand Rapids offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 20 for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. They will resume normal operations Tuesday, Jan. 21.
The holiday closures will not impact City curbside refuse and recycling collections next week. That means Monday’s collections will take place as scheduled with no delays the rest of the week.
