Monday, Feb. 24: Catholic Central High School standout Sam Schmitt’s college team loses to Shepherd Rams

On Monday, Feb. 24, former Catholic Central High School standout Sam Schmitt’s current college team, the Salem Tigers, lost 6-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Shepherd Rams.

The game took place at Frank Loria Memorial Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Rams this season.

The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 3 p.m. at Wild Things Park against California Vulcans.
