The Ferris State University men's tennis team concluded their championship season on Monday, May 13, after losing to Grand Valley State in the NCAA Tournament. The match, held at Big Rapids High School, ended with a 4-0 victory for the visiting Lakers. This defeat follows a regular-season win against GVSU by Ferris State in the GLIAC.

Grand Valley State secured the doubles point and won the first three singles matches to advance in the tournament. They will compete against either Wayne State or Tiffin next. Despite the scoreline, five of six singles matches extended to third sets, indicating closely fought contests.

In doubles competition, GVSU started strong with victories of 6-3 and 6-4 at one and two doubles respectively. Their singles wins included a straight-set triumph at six singles and three-set victories at four and one singles positions.

Ferris State finished their season with an overall record of 17-5. This year marked their ninth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and was their first time hosting regional action since the 2016-17 season. Overall, it was FSU's 27th participation in the NCAA Tournament.

This season saw Ferris State winning both the GLIAC Regular-Season Championship and league postseason tournament title. The Bulldogs achieved a perfect 6-0 record in GLIAC regular-season play and claimed their first conference tournament title in three years.
