City of Walker issued the following announcement on Aug 11.
We're almost there! Crews have put down gravel and are prepping the roadway for sidewalk and curb.
Concrete work is scheduled to begin Thursday, weather permitting of course. Access through the construction zone should be improving as additional gravel width is placed. However, the road is still closed to “thru traffic”.
Looking ahead: Paving is tentatively scheduled for August 30th – September 1st.
