GRAND RAPIDS CHAMBER: Grand Rapids Chamber Welcomes New Government Affairs Coordinator

Grand Rapids Chamber issued the following announcement on Nov. 23.

The Grand Rapids Chamber welcomes Katie Doyen to the Government Affairs team in a recently created fourth position as Government Affairs Coordinator. She is responsible for Government Affairs communications, events, issue committees, and will have a focus on environmental policy.

Katie is returning to the Great Lake State from the Mile High City and brings years of Chamber experience with having previously served as Public Affairs Specialist with the Denver Metro Chamber where she managed policy committees, research, and legislative tasks. Additionally, she was the Social Media and Small Events Coordinator at the Clarkston Area Chamber in Oakland County, Michigan.

“The Chamber industry fulfills my “why” – to help connect great people with the right job, and organization,” said Katie Doyen, Government Affairs Coordinator at the Grand Rapids Chamber. “I look forward to serving the vibrant, West Michigan business community, as well as support the cultivation and growth of a thriving and prosperous West Michigan for all.”
