Ferris State cross country teams to compete at GLIAC championships Saturday

The Ferris State University men's and women's cross country teams are scheduled to participate in the 2025 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Championships on Saturday, October 25. The event will take place in Caledonia, Michigan, and is being hosted by Davenport University.

The championships will bring together leading runners from across the GLIAC at a venue near Grand Rapids. The competition begins with the women's 6K race at 11 a.m. Eastern Time, followed by the men's 8K race at 11:45 a.m. An awards ceremony will be held after the races.

Grand Valley State enters as the defending champion for both men's and women's categories.

After competing in the GLIAC Championships, Ferris State's cross country teams are set to take part in the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Championships on November 8 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Teams that qualify from this regional event will move on to compete at the national championships scheduled for November 22, also in Kenosha.
