Hillary Scholten began representing Michigan’s 3rd congressional district after succeeding Peter Meijer in 2023. She was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1982 and continues to reside there. Scholten holds a BA from Gordon College (2004) and earned her JD from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2011.
