Scholten has served as Michigan’s 3rd District representative since replacing Peter Meijer in 2023. Born in Grand Rapids in 1982 and currently residing there at age 41, she holds degrees from Gordon College (BA) and the University of Maryland, Baltimore (JD). Her recent activities reflect ongoing engagement with local constituents on issues ranging from civic participation to public safety.
