Congresswoman Hillary Scholten, who represents Michigan’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted her legislative and community activities through a series of social media posts.
On September 25, 2025, Scholten announced the introduction of new legislation aimed at supporting small businesses: "I introduced the SBIR Innovation Workforce Act so that small businesses like Anzen Unmanned get the support and workers they need to succeed. The following morning, on September 26, she shared her experience attending an event focused on children’s education in West Michigan: "Play is where learning begins. The Grand Rapids Children’s Museum makes that possible for thousands of kids each year. I loved attending their State of Play Breakfast this morning to celebrate the work they’re doing for kids and families in West Michigan. I am proud to fight for".
Later that day, Scholten discussed energy policy initiatives during a roundtable with industry representatives: "I’m laser-focused on ensuring the affordability of energy for all in West Michigan through an all-of-the-above energy approach. Great to host a roundtable with API to collaborate on ways we can continue investing in American energy."
