The Ferris State University men's golf team finished in a tie for fourth place at the University of Indianapolis Fall Invitational, which concluded on Tuesday at Broadmoor Country Club in Indianapolis. The Bulldogs shared the fourth spot with Gannon, both teams finishing six-under par with a total score of 858 over three rounds.
Ferris State posted scores of 285 in the first round, 288 in the second, and 285 again in the final round. Grand Valley State secured first place with an overall score of 813, followed by Hillsdale at 836 and McKendree at 856 among the 14 participating teams.
Ethan Frost led Ferris State individually, tying for fourth place with a total score of 207 after shooting rounds of 69, 66, and 72. Ben Miller tied for 26th with a combined score of 216 (73-74-69). Sam Havey finished tied for 31st at 218 (72-74-72), while Kole Putnam tied for 38th with a total of 220 (71-74-75). Ray Dress completed his rounds tied for 60th at 225 (78-75-72).
Peter Roehl competed as an individual and placed 80th with a total score of 236 (85-74-77).
The Bulldogs will compete next at the Doc Spragg Fall Invite on October 13–14 in Findlay, Ohio.
