Ferris State University's women's golf team secured third place at the Warrior Invitational, which concluded on Tuesday at Orchards Golf Club in Washington, Michigan. The event was hosted by Wayne State University and featured 13 teams.
The Bulldogs completed the 54-hole tournament with a total score of 912. Their performance included a final round score of 298, following two rounds of 307 each on Monday. Grand Valley State and Findlay shared first place, both finishing with scores of 885.
Kamryn Shannon led Ferris State individually, tying for first place overall with a three-round total of 219. Her individual scores were 72 in the opening round, followed by 73 and 74 in subsequent rounds.
Lizzie Anderson finished in 12th place with a combined score of 227 from rounds of 76, 78, and 73. Ashley Thomasma tied for 22nd after posting scores of 78, 85, and a final round of 71 to reach a total of 234.
Kylie Walker ended the tournament in 30th position with a cumulative score of 238 (84-74-80). Taylor Musselman placed 43rd after shooting rounds of 81, 82, and 84 for a total score of 247.
Isabel Kelly competed as an individual entry for Ferris State and tied for 51st place with scores of 84, 88, and an improved final round of 81.
