Congresswoman Hillary Scholten, who represents Michigan’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared updates on her legislative and community engagement efforts through a series of posts on her official X (formerly Twitter) account.

On September 17, 2025, Scholten announced an upcoming event: "So excited to join @MichSoS for an in-person town hall next week in Muskegon Heights! This will be a great chance to ask Sec. Hillary Scholten has served as the representative for Michigan's 3rd District since 2023 after succeeding Peter Meijer. She was born in Grand Rapids in 1982 and continues to reside there. Scholten holds a BA from Gordon College (2004) and earned her JD from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2011.
