Congresswoman Hillary Scholten, who represents Michigan’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, highlighted ongoing collaborations with local organizations and professionals in a series of posts on September 10, 2025.

In her first post of the day, Scholten emphasized the importance of affordable housing in West Michigan, stating: "Affordable, accessible housing should be available for all of our neighbors, and the leaders at @GRHC_Housing are working every day to make that a reality.

Great to meet again in Washington to continue our partnership in expanding affordable housing options in West Michigan." (September 10, 2025)

Later that night, she acknowledged efforts by healthcare providers and professional associations: "I’m working alongside our health care providers to ensure that they are fully equipped to provide top-of-the-line care to our community. Thanks to members of the American Academy of Dermatology for their work to support and enhance patient care everywhere." (September 10, 2025)

By afternoon the following day, Scholten expressed appreciation for innovation within her district: "Thanks to the leaders at West Michigan’s own @VAInstitute for their commitment to advancing the medical field. I’m proud to support American innovation, especially when it’s coming from MI-03!" (September 10, 2025)

Hillary Scholten has served as U.S. Representative for Michigan's 3rd District since replacing Peter Meijer in 2023. Born in Grand Rapids in 1982 and currently residing there, Scholten holds degrees from Gordon College and earned her law degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
