Ferris State University's women's golf team began its 2025-26 season with a third-place finish at the University of Indianapolis Invitational. The event concluded on Tuesday in Henryville, Indiana.
The Bulldogs completed the 54-hole tournament at Champions Pointe with a total score of 880, finishing 16-over par. Their round scores were 289, 294, and 297. Missouri-St. Louis won the event with a score of 869, while host Indianapolis took second place with an 873. Twelve teams competed in the field.
Senior Kamryn Shannon led Ferris State by tying for fifth overall with a total score of 215. She shot a 78 in the first round, set a school record with a 67 in the second round, and finished with a 70 on Tuesday.
Kylie Walker placed eleventh overall at 220 after recording scores of 71 and 74 on day one and finishing with a 75 in the final round.
Lizzie Anderson tied for sixteenth place with a score of 222. She posted rounds of 72 and 74 on Monday and closed out with a final-round score of 76.
Ashley Thomasma also finished among the top twenty competitors, tying for nineteenth place at 224. Her rounds included a first-round score of 69, followed by scores of 79 and then a final-round score of 76.
Taylor Musselman participated as an individual competitor and tied for twenty-seventh place after shooting rounds of 74, 78, and concluding with a third-round score of 75 for an overall total of 227.
Isabel Kelly also competed individually and tied for fifty-first place after posting scores of 82, 84, and an eighty-three in her three rounds to finish at an overall total of two hundred forty-nine.
Paige Anderson competed only in the first round where she posted a seventy-seven to finish sixty-sixth overall.
Ferris State's next scheduled competition is the Warrior Invite taking place September twenty-second through twenty-third in Washington, Michigan.
