On Saturday, April 5, former Catholic Central High School standout Sam Schmitt’s current college team, the Salem Tigers, won 6-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Wheeling Cardinals.

The game took place at JB Chambers I-470 Complex. This was their second matchup against the Cardinals this season.

The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 1 p.m. at JB Chambers I-470 Complex against Wheeling Cardinals.
