Big Rapids, Mich. - Five athletes from Ferris State University's softball team have earned spots on the 2025 All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Team, as announced by the league on April 30. This recognition comes as part of the unveiling of the conference's postseason awards.

The awards were determined by the votes of the league's member head coaches. The announcements came ahead of the league's annual postseason tournament, set to begin on May 1 in Rosemont, Illinois.

Sophomore first baseman Alexis Kozlowski, from Gaylord, was named to the All-GLIAC First Team. This marks her second consecutive year receiving all-league honors. Jadyn Joseph, a junior second baseman from Holt, was named to the All-GLIAC Second Team, marking her third consecutive year of all-league recognition. Sophomore pitcher Ceceila Bell from South Elgin, Illinois also earned a spot on the second team.

Additionally, senior third baseman Brooklyn Verbeek from Grandville/Calvin Christian, and outfielder Emma Gillard from Ravenna, received GLIAC Honorable Mentions. Emma Gillard had also been honored similarly last year.

These five players have contributed significantly to Ferris State's success, helping the team achieve a 27-17 record in regular-season play. This result is the program's highest win total in nine years. The team has also secured its first NCAA Regional Ranking in a decade, positioning itself for a possible NCAA Tournament bid.

As they enter the GLIAC Tournament, Ferris State is seeded third, after finishing among the top three in the league standings. They are set to face the sixth seed, Roosevelt, on May 1, at 2:30 p.m. (ET) in the tournament's opening round.
