Due to anticipated cold weather, Ferris State University has postponed its Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) home softball doubleheader against Davenport. Initially planned for Wednesday, the games will now occur on April 16. Game one will commence at 2 p.m. Eastern Time at the FSU Softball Field, with game two following at approximately 4 p.m. Eastern Time.
Currently, Ferris State University holds a 19-11 record and stands second in the GLIAC standings with an 8-6 record in conference play. Recently, the Bulldogs achieved a weekend sweep against Roosevelt and Parkside, maintaining a perfect 4-0 record.
Before the rescheduled doubleheader, the Bulldogs will visit Grand Valley State on Saturday, April 12, with the match beginning at 1 p.m. Eastern Time. They will then proceed to face Purdue Northwest on Sunday, April 13, for another league doubleheader.
The non-conference doubleheader at Northwood, set for April 15, is subject to change due to the rescheduling. It is unlikely to be played on Tuesday.
