Ferris State University has announced the postponement of its scheduled Sunday home softball doubleheader against Grand Valley State University. The decision was made due to anticipated rain and wet weather conditions expected in Big Rapids, Michigan.

The games, part of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, will now take place on Tuesday, April 1. The first match will begin at 2:30 p.m. with the second slated for approximately 4:30 p.m., both at the FSU Softball Field.

Recently, Ferris State's softball team held its first home matches of the season, facing Purdue Northwest on Friday. They secured a split in the conference games by winning the first match 12-6 but losing the second 3-2. FSU's current standing is a 13-9 record for this season, with victories in six of the last ten games.

After facing Grand Valley State, the Bulldogs will attend a rescheduled doubleheader against Saginaw Valley State on Wednesday, April 2. The following weekend they will host games against Roosevelt and Parkside on April 5 and 6, respectively.
