On April 19, four student-athletes were inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma, the national honor society recognizing academic and athletic excellence. This year's inductees include three individuals from the class of 2023 and one from the class of 2022, whose induction was delayed due to the pandemic. Each honoree maintains a cumulative GPA above 3.60 and has received recognition from their respective sports governing bodies.

Jenna Belian, honored in 2022, graduated with a degree in Biological Lab Sciences. She competed on the National Champion Dance Team All-Around and was part of the runner-up National Jazz Team.

Richard Polasek is among the class of 2023 inductees. He will graduate with a degree in International Business. Originally from the Czech Republic, Richard was part of Davenport University's Swimming and Diving team and achieved sixth place at the NCAA Division II National Championships in the 200-yard breaststroke, earning All-American status.

Noah Evers, also from the class of 2023, will graduate with a degree in Business Management. He competed in throws for the Men's Track and Field Team and secured eighth place at the NCAA Division II Indoor National Championships in shot put, qualifying him for All-American status.

Emily Bolt completes this year's class of inductees. She will graduate with an Applied Science degree in Integrative Professional Studies from DU and a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Kuyper College with a minor in Biblical Studies. Emily competed as a diver on the Women's Swimming and Diving Team, placing 15th in the one-meter finals at the NCAA Division II National Championships to earn second-team All-American status.
