Davenport University athletes earn GLIAC academic honors for winter season

The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced the All-Academic and All-Academic Excellence Teams for the winter sports season of 2022-23. The recognition is given to student-athletes who meet specific academic criteria.

To qualify, student-athletes must be active members of their team's roster at the end of the season and not be freshmen or first-year transfer students. Those with a cumulative GPA between 3.0 and 3.49 are named to the All-Academic Teams, while those with a GPA between 3.50 and 4.0 are placed on the Academic Excellence Teams. These grades are assessed based on marks through the fall semester of 2022.

Davenport University has reported that it had a total of 80 student-athletes recognized in this listing, with 21 achieving GPAs in the range of 3.0-3.49 and another 59 reaching GPAs between 3.5-4.0.
