Davenport University athletics experienced a landmark year, achieving its highest finish in the GLIAC Presidents' Trophy standings by securing fourth place. Five of its programs won league championships or qualified for the NCAA Tournament.

The men's soccer team ended with an 11-8-1 record, sharing the GLIAC Regular Season Championship for the first time. The team won or tied six of its last seven matches and advanced to the NCAA Tournament, marking another first for the program.

Men's basketball finished with a 17-14 record and caught fire at season's end. They won seven consecutive games, including the GLIAC Tournament, earning their first NCAA Tournament berth.

In spring sports, men's golf dominated at the GLIAC Championships by winning stroke play by 21 strokes and overcoming Northwood and Ferris State in match play. This success led to their inaugural national tournament appearance.

Men's tennis recorded an 18-8 season and defeated Northwood in the GLIAC Tournament's first round. They qualified for their first NCAA Tournament but were defeated by No. 12 Indianapolis, concluding their most successful Division II season.

Baseball achieved a 36-23 record, capturing both regular season and tournament championships consecutively. Davenport was victorious in nine of its last ten games before entering as top seed into the conference tournament. They hosted NCAA Midwest Regional #1 for the first time and finished ranked No. 24 nationally.
