The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced the 2022 GLIAC Spring All-Academic and All-Academic Excellence Teams. These teams recognize student-athletes who have achieved high academic standards while being active members of their respective sports rosters.
To qualify for these honors, a student-athlete must be on the roster at the end of the season and cannot be a freshman or first-year transfer student. The All-Academic Team includes those with a cumulative GPA between 3.0 and 3.49, while the Academic Excellence Team comprises those with GPAs ranging from 3.50 to 4.0, based on spring semester grades.
Davenport University had a significant presence in this year's listing, with 122 student-athletes recognized: 39 were named to the All-Academic Team, and 83 were included in the Academic Excellence Team.
