Big Rapids, Mich. - Ferris State University is set to host its annual Crimson & Gold Spring Game on Friday, April 19, at Top Taggart Field. The game will begin at 5:30 p.m. Eastern Time, with gates opening an hour earlier. Admission is free.

The event will be broadcast live on the Bulldog Sports Network and Sunny 97.3 FM. Rob Bentley and Sandy Gholston will provide commentary starting with pregame coverage at 5 p.m. Fans can also access a live audio stream and free video webcast through FerrisStateBulldogs.com.

Under head coach Tony Annese, the spring game offers fans a chance to see the Bulldogs in action for the first time since last fall. The game will feature modified scoring and timing formats, giving younger players an opportunity to showcase their skills as spring drills conclude.

Ferris State's football team has been successful in recent years, reaching the NCAA Division II Playoffs nine consecutive times. They have made five national semifinal appearances and competed in three national championship games, securing back-to-back titles in 2021 and 2022.

Over the past three seasons, Ferris State boasts a 36-4 overall record. The team ranks as the country's winningest program over the past nine full seasons in Division II Football with a record of 63-6 over four seasons.

Since Annese became head coach in 2012, Ferris State holds a record of 123-20 (.860), making it Michigan's top collegiate program within the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).
