Registration is open for Ferris State University's 2023 summer athletics camp program. Participants can sign up for a variety of camps on the FSU campus this summer.
FSU Athletics will offer various day and overnight camps in sports such as boys and girls basketball, volleyball, tennis, golf, soccer, softball, and more. This year includes a new strength and conditioning academy. Planning is underway to ensure a safe environment for all campers and staff.
The camp season begins in June as schools close and continues throughout the summer on the Big Rapids campus. Camps are designed for different age levels with team camps available for selected sports. All camps are directed by members of the respective Bulldog head coaching staff.
"The purpose of the FSU Athletic Camps is to provide individual and team campers with a safe, fun and challenging atmosphere to learn and improve on their skills and knowledge of the sport," according to the announcement. "The coaches and student-athletes share their experiences and enthusiasm in order to challenge campers to reach higher levels and enjoy the game more."
In addition to scheduled activities, each residential camp includes recreational and social activities. Students attending overnight camps stay in university residence halls and receive meals at FSU's newly-renovated facilities.
